Each Chef In Your Garden event highlights a different Growing Gardens program and invites a new chef to share a unique story about what gardening and fresh food access means to them.

Cuisine: NW cuisine with a Caribbean and Southern twist.  

Dinner one of our series celebrates the hard work of our Home Gardens Program. Join our Home Gardens Director, Rashae Burns to learn about some of the amazing projects her team has in the works. Then head to the garden to enjoy a spectacular family-style meal prepared by Chef Shelly of Finer Things Catering and Shelly's Kitchen.

Youth Grow Program

Cuisine: Traditional Mexican flavors with a fresh veggie twist.  

Dinner two of our series highlights the hard work of our Youth Grow Program. Join our Youth Grow Director, Amoreena Guerrero to learn about some of the amazing projects her team has in the works. Then head to the garden to enjoy a spectacular family-style meal prepared by Chef Anthony of Tito's Taquitos.

Lettuce Grow Program

Dinner three of our series highlights the hard work of our Lettuce Grow Program. Join our Lettuce Grow Director, Rima Green to learn about some of the amazing projects her team has in the works. Then head to the garden to enjoy a spectacular family-style meal prepared by award-winning Chef Thuy Pham of Mama Dút.
